Welsh company Alan Rhone has brought the Stealth Plate Pro, an innovative pad adjuster from the USA, to the UK and is now looking to expand the fitting network across the country. The Stealth Plate Pro, distinguished by its lack of traditional aluminium plates, offers a sleek and lightweight solution that does not alter the original stock length or add unnecessary weight.
Once installed, the adjuster is completely concealed when the pad is in its standard position, making it virtually invisible on the firearm. This design feature is particularly appealing as it allows for seamless aesthetics without compromising functionality. Furthermore, the adjuster is easily transferable between firearms. Owners can remove the Stealth Plate Pro and reinstall it on a new gun, simply by screwing the pad back into place on the original stock, thus retaining the hardware.
Alan Rhone, the owner of the distributing company, discovered the product through an advertisement in the USA and quickly arranged with Dawson Enterprises to bring it to the UK market. “Pat McCarthy from Dawson Enterprises reached out, and we agreed to supply and fit them here. Unlike the situation in the USA where Krieghoff is the exclusive fitting centre for their branded guns, we can fit the Stealth Plate Pro to any brand of gun,” Rhone commented.
The fitting process requires precision, as the end of the stock and the base of the pad need to be milled out using a router, facilitated by a specific tool kit which includes the necessary jigs. Alan Rhone’s company provides these kits to potential fitting centres along with a trim router, detailed instructions, and a demonstration video. Interested parties are also invited to visit Alan Rhone’s facilities for a live demonstration.
The retail price of the Stealth Plate Pro, including a new Kick-Eez pad, is set at £450, with trade discounts available. Alan Rhone is actively seeking partners to establish additional fitting centres across the UK, offering a comprehensive fitting tool kit for purchase. The initial investment in the fitting kit is expected to be quickly recuperated through the fitting services provided.
